Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes (in oil, drained and chopped)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Prep the Chicken :
Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Sear the Chicken :
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high. Sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  • Make the Sauce :
In the same skillet, add garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 1 minute.
  • Deglaze & Simmer :
Pour in the chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the pan. Add heavy cream, parmesan cheese, and sun-dried tomatoes. Stir and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Add Chicken Back In :
Return chicken to the skillet. Sprinkle Italian seasoning and let everything simmer for 10–12 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and sauce thickens.
  • Serve & Garnish :
Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot.

Notes

For added taste, boneless chicken thighs can be used in place of chicken breasts. For the finest melt and consistency, use freshly grated Parmesan.
