For a Classic Lavash Pizza (1 sheet – 2 servings):
- 1 sheet lavash flatbread
- ¼ cup pizza sauce or marinara
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup sliced bell peppers
- ¼ cup sliced onions
- ¼ cup black olives
- 1 tsp olive oil
- ½ tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning
- Fresh basil or arugula (optional, for garnish)
Preheat Oven:Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Prepare Lavash Base:Place lavash on the baking sheet and lightly brush it with olive oil. Add Sauce and Toppings:Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the lavash. Add shredded cheese, then layer on your vegetables and olives. Season and Bake:Sprinkle dried herbs on top and bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges are crisp. Garnish and Serve:Remove from oven, garnish with fresh basil or arugula if desired. Slice and serve immediately.
- Lavash is thin and can burn easily, so watch it carefully when baking.
- To maintain the crust's crispness, don't add too many toppings.
